The funding of ministry is different than that of commercial enterprise. There is nothing to sell--no natural way for salaries to be covered. Missionaries seek like-minded churches and individuals to stand with them in ministry with prayer and finances. HCJB Global establishes modest salary levels based on geographical assignment and family size. Missionaries are also required to raise funds for communication, travel, immigration and some operational costs. The mission mandates planning for retirement and health care, and a 10% fee is charged to cover overhead. All of these expenses combine to form the total ministry cost.

Donations for missionary ministry are tax deductible since they are to the mission rather than the missionary. Mission trustees maintain authority over donated funds as a matter of integrity and legal compliance. Missionaries that raise more funding than needed are not allowed to increase their salaries. Under-supported missionaries continue to receive full salary for short periods of time before taking pay cuts or seeking additional financial partners.

You can donate by check on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Credit card or checking account debits can be automated on a monthly basis. One-time gifts are also encouraged for special needs.
